Motorola One 5G is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a score of 84.6 against 77.2. Although the Motorola One 5G is a better cellphone than Motorola Edge 40, we must tell that it's also an a lot older, heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little more vivid display than Motorola One 5G, although it has a little lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, a quite smaller display and a bit worse screen density.
Motorola One 5G counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola One 5G also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB. Motorola One 5G has a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Motorola Edge 40 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger camera aperture for better low-light photography, a higher resolution back camera and a lot larger sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality.
Motorola One 5G features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
