Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is a bit better than Motorola One 5G's 84.6 score. Galaxy A42 is a just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner phone than the Motorola One 5G, even when both of them were only released 2 months apart. Motorola One 5G features a better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot greater screen density, a lot better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a quite larger screen.
The Galaxy A42 counts with as much storage for games and applications as the Motorola One 5G, both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and exactly the same internal storage. Motorola One 5G features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy A42 features a battery duration that's very similar to the battery life in Motorola One 5G. The Motorola One 5G shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Motorola One 5G also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures in low light situations.
