Motorola One 5G's body is extremely newer and just a bit lighter, but thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Motorola One 5G features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little larger display, a bit greater pixel density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
Motorola One 5G features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola One 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola One 5G has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola One 5G, because it has a 5300mAh battery size. Motorola One 5G captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola One 5G also has a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot bigger aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Motorola One 5G costs more money than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
