Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the Motorola One Hyper, getting an 82.6 score against 79.8. Even when Sony Xperia 1 and Motorola One Hyper were released only 6 months apart, Sony Xperia 1 is lighter and a little thinner. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processing power than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Xperia 1 counts with a brighter display than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia 1 also has a way greater pixels amount per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px. Motorola One Hyper features a much better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with higher 30 fps video frame rates and a way more MP back facing camera.

The Motorola One Hyper features a bit more storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Motorola One Hyper also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1000 GB. The Motorola One Hyper has improved battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola One Hyper, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola One Hyper. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Motorola One Hyper, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
