Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than the Motorola One Hyper, with a score of 83.3 against 79.8. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is an older phone than the Motorola One Hyper, but Xiaomi could make it lighter and thinner. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the older 10 version and Motorola One Hyper has Android 11 version.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better display than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit faster CPU than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM.
The Motorola One Hyper counts with a bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB. The Motorola One Hyper features superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Motorola One Hyper has a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a camera with a much better 64 mega pixels resolution.
