The Motorola One Hyper is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a general score of 79.8 against 77.5. Even though Motorola One Hyper is thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's a little lighter and newer. Motorola One Hyper has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a bit more pixels per inch of display and a quite bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2's processor is very similar to the Motorola One Hyper one, both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Motorola One Hyper features much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola One Hyper also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has superior battery performance than Motorola One Hyper, because it has a 33% bigger battery size.
The Motorola One Hyper costs more than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
