Moto Z3 Play has a general score of 76.3, which is slightly better than Motorola One's 74.3 score. The Moto Z3 Play is a a little bit lighter and thinner device than Motorola One, although they were released only 4 months apart. The Motorola One features a little better processing power than Moto Z3 Play. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Moto Z3 Play counts with a bit more vivid screen than Motorola One, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a little larger screen. Moto Z3 Play has a slightly better camera than Motorola One, because although it has a worse (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a larger aperture.
The Moto Z3 Play has a superior memory for games and applications than Motorola One, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto Z3 Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola One and the Moto Z3 Play have similar battery performance.
Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola One, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola One. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Motorola One, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
