Comparison review

Xperia SP is a little bit better than Motorola PHOTON 4G, getting a 63.1 score against 57.5. Xperia SP is a newer phone, and it's also somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Motorola PHOTON 4G. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia SP has a newer 4.3 version while Motorola PHOTON 4G has Android 2.3, giving you some extra features and enhanced performance.

The Xperia SP counts with a more powerful processing unit than Motorola PHOTON 4G, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and a Dual-Core CPU, the Xperia SP also has an extra GPU. The Xperia SP features a brighter display than Motorola PHOTON 4G, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the screen, a quite larger display and a higher resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The Motorola PHOTON 4G features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia SP, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 32 GB, the Motorola PHOTON 4G also has 16 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola PHOTON 4G has a superior camera than Xperia SP. Both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back-facing camera.

Xperia SP features a much better battery duration than Motorola PHOTON 4G, because it has a 2370mAh battery size against 1700mAh.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Xperia SP is also cheap compared to the Motorola PHOTON 4G.
