Xiaomi Redmi 4 has an overall score of 67.1, which is a little bit better than the Motorola RAZR MAXX's general score of 62. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is a just a bit heavier phone than Motorola RAZR MAXX, but both of them are equally thin. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while Motorola RAZR MAXX has Android 4.0 version, providing a couple additional features and increased performance.

The Motorola RAZR MAXX features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi 4, although it has a just a little worse screen pixels density, a way worse resolution of 960 x 540 and a bit smaller screen. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 features more memory for games and applications than Motorola RAZR MAXX, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 counts with a bit better processor than Motorola RAZR MAXX, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola RAZR MAXX, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 also has a much better 13 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 features better battery performance than Motorola RAZR MAXX, because it has a 4100mAh battery size.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this phone a great choice.
