The Samsung Star II has a global score of 40.4, which is a bit better than Nokia 301's score of 37.3. The Samsung Star II body has the same thickness than Nokia 301, but it's a little lighter. Nokia 301 features a bit better screen than Samsung Star II, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 320 x 240 and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel count per display inch.

The Nokia 301 has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Star II, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB.
