Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is much better than Nokia 4.2's 66.1 score. Despite of the fact that Moto Z2 Play is older than the Nokia 4.2, it's design is somewhat lighter and way thinner. The Moto Z2 Play has a little more vivid screen than Nokia 4.2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a higher screen pixel density.
The Moto Z2 Play has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Nokia 4.2, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play features a little better processing power than Nokia 4.2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Moto Z2 Play also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Moto Z2 Play takes better photos and videos than Nokia 4.2, because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution and a much bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations. Motorola Moto Z2 Play and Nokia 4.2 have quite similar batteries performance.
The Moto Z2 Play is a bit more expensive than Nokia 4.2, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
