HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is much better than the Nokia 5.1 Plus's 66.1 global score. The HTC One M9 is a way older and somewhat thicker device than the Nokia 5.1 Plus, but HTC was able to build it a little lighter anyway. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the HTC One M9 has 5.0 version while Nokia 5.1 Plus has Android 10 version.

HTC One M9 features a greater processing power than Nokia 5.1 Plus, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also has an additional GPU and a 64-bit processing unit. HTC One M9 counts with a way better looking screen than Nokia 5.1 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The HTC One M9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Nokia 5.1 Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a lot better 20 megapixels resolution. Nokia 5.1 Plus features a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Nokia 5.1 Plus also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 400 GB.

Nokia 5.1 Plus features a bit superior battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 3060mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.

HTC One M9 costs a bit more than the Nokia 5.1 Plus, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
