Comparison review
The HTC S740 has a score of 42.5, which is just a bit better than Nokia 5250's global score of 39. HTC S740 has Windows Mobile Standard 6.1 operating system, while Nokia 5250 has Symbian 9.4 operating system. Although it's the best in our current comparison, we must note that it's also an older, somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier device.
The Nokia 5250 has a much better display than HTC S740, because it has a lot greater number of pixels per inch of screen, a way higher resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and a larger screen. Nokia 5250 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than HTC S740. The HTC S740 counts with a little faster processing unit than Nokia 5250, and although they both have the same number of cores, the HTC S740 also has more RAM memory.
HTC S740 and Nokia 5250 have quite similar batteries duration. Nokia 5250 takes just a bit better photos and videos than HTC S740, although it has a lot less MP back-facing camera.
The HTC S740 costs a bit more than Nokia 5250, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
