The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just a bit better than the Nokia 7.2, with a 76 score against 75.9. Despite of the fact that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is noticeably older than Nokia 7.2, it's construction is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Nokia 7.2 has Android 10, providing some additional features.
Nokia 7.2 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the Nokia 7.2 also has a larger number of cores. Nokia 7.2 counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit bigger display, a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Nokia 7.2 shoots much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Nokia 7.2 also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a much bigger camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and video.
The Nokia 7.2 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Nokia 7.2 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has longer battery life than Nokia 7.2, because it has a 4070mAh battery capacity.
