Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than the Nokia 7 plus, getting an 85 score against 72.2. Samsung Galaxy M40's construction is newer, just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Nokia 7 plus. The Nokia 7 plus has just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, a just a little inferior quantity of pixels per display inch and a little bit smaller screen.
Galaxy M40's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Nokia 7 plus, and although the Galaxy M40 has 2 GB more RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Galaxy M40 captures better videos and photos than Nokia 7 plus, because although it has a smaller sensor, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations and a way better resolution camera.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Nokia 7 plus, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Nokia 7 plus has just a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 3800mAh battery size.
