Huawei Mate X is much better than the Nokia 8.3 5G, with an 89.4 score against 80.5. Even being the best phone in this review, the Huawei Mate X design is older, thicker and notably heavier than the Nokia 8.3 5G. These phones include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Nokia 8.3 5G has Android 11 version, so it offers some extra features and increased performance.
Huawei Mate X features a slightly better looking display than Nokia 8.3 5G, because it has a larger screen, a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480 and a just a bit greater amount of pixels in each inch of screen. The Huawei Mate X features a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Nokia 8.3 5G, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X has just a little better processing power than Nokia 8.3 5G. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 8 GB of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X has a battery duration that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Nokia 8.3 5G. Nokia 8.3 5G shoots much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot tinier camera sensor and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a way more mega pixels back facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Nokia 8.3 5G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Nokia 8.3 5G. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Nokia 8.3 5G, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
