The Nokia 8.3 5G is slightly better than Galaxy M12, having an 80.5 score against 80. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Nokia 8.3 5G has newer 11 version and Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version, providing you some extra features. Even though Nokia 8.3 5G and Galaxy M12 were only released with a couple months difference, Nokia 8.3 5G's body is a bit thinner but also just a bit heavier than Galaxy M12.

The Nokia 8.3 5G features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Nokia 8.3 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because it has a better pixels density, a little larger display and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400.

Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a bit more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Nokia 8.3 5G, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures in low light situations, a lot lower 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot worse (Full HD) video definition.

The Galaxy M12 features greater battery life than Nokia 8.3 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
