The Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a little bit better than the HTC One M9, with a score of 80.3 against 77.7. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Nokia 8 V 5G UW has newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, giving you some additional features. Nokia 8 V 5G UW's design is newer and a little bit thinner, but also much heavier than HTC One M9.

HTC One M9 has a brighter display than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixels density. Nokia 8 V 5G UW counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that allows up to 1000 GB.

HTC One M9 counts with just a bit better performance than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and a GPU. The Nokia 8 V 5G UW counts with a very superior camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photographs, a bigger camera aperture to take better images in low light environments, a much better 64 megapixels resolution camera in the back and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.

Nokia 8 V 5G UW features a much better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 58% more battery size.

Although Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the HTC One M9, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
