Huawei Mate X is better than the Nokia 8 V 5G UW, getting a overall score of 89.4 against 80.3. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Huawei Mate X is an older, thicker and way heavier device than the Nokia 8 V 5G UW. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Nokia 8 V 5G UW has Android 10 version.
Huawei Mate X features a bit better processing unit than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM memory. Huawei Mate X features a little bit better screen than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because it has a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px, a larger display and a quite greater pixels density.
Nokia 8 V 5G UW features a very superior camera than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a same size sensor and the same aperture, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also has a back camera with a much higher 64 megapixels resolution. The Huawei Mate X has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory.
Huawei Mate X and Nokia 8 V 5G UW have incredibly similar batteries.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Nokia 8 V 5G UW. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Nokia 8 V 5G UW, giving up a couple specifications.
