Comparison review

The Nokia 8 V 5G UW is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 80.3 against 76.3. The Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a way thicker and much heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Nokia 8 V 5G UW has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Galaxy Alpha counts with just a little better processing power than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Alpha features a bit more vivid display than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, although it has a bit worse pixel number per inch of display, a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a much smaller display.

Nokia 8 V 5G UW has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also has a much better 64 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, better video frame rate and a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations.

The Nokia 8 V 5G UW has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Nokia 8 V 5G UW counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Alpha. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Alpha, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
