The HTC U Ultra is a bit better than the Nokia 8, with a general score of 77 against 73.8. The HTC U Ultra is a a bit heavier cellphone than Nokia 8, but both of them are equally thin. Nokia 8 counts with just a bit better processing power than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Nokia 8 also has a higher number of faster cores.
Nokia 8 has a brighter display than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the Nokia 8 also counts with a just a little better pixels amount per screen inch. The HTC U Ultra has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Nokia 8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the HTC U Ultra also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Nokia 8 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 3090mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. HTC U Ultra shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Nokia 8, because although it has a camera in the back with lesser mega-pixels and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments and a lot larger camera sensor.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Nokia 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the HTC U Ultra, else you can save some money and get the Nokia 8, letting go a couple features and specifications.
