Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than Nokia 8, having a 78.7 score against 73.8. Even though the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and the Nokia 8 were only released with a few months difference, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is just a bit heavier but a little thinner than the Nokia 8. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's CPU is very similar to Nokia 8's processing unit, and although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a higher amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Nokia 8 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Nokia 8 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's camera is just as good as the Nokia 8 one, because although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a smaller diafragm aperture, a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lower (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality pictures.
Nokia 8 has a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features longer battery life than Nokia 8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3090mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Nokia 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Nokia 8, resigning some features and specs.
