Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is a lot better than Nokia 8's general score of 73.8. Huawei Mate X is a way newer phone than the Nokia 8, although it's much thicker and a lot heavier. The Nokia 8 features a better display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a little better performance than Nokia 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Nokia 8 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much worse 13 MP resolution camera in the back, a much smaller camera sensor which gives a way worse photo and video quality and a tinier camera aperture.
Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Nokia 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate X features a really longer battery lifetime than Nokia 8, because it has a 46% bigger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Nokia 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Nokia 8, giving up a couple features and specifications.
