The Huawei P10 Plus is a little bit better than Nokia 8, getting a global score of 79.8 against 73.8. Even though the Huawei P10 Plus and Nokia 8 were released only a couple of months apart, the Huawei P10 Plus design is a bit heavier but also thinner than Nokia 8. The Nokia 8 counts with a bit better display than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the Nokia 8 also counts with a little higher pixel density.
Huawei P10 Plus counts with much more memory capacity for applications and games than Nokia 8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei P10 Plus has a processor that is very similar to the Nokia 8 one, and although the Huawei P10 Plus has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Nokia 8 captures slightly better photos and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Nokia 8 also counts with a back facing camera with more mega pixels.
Huawei P10 Plus counts with longer battery duration than Nokia 8, because it has a 21% bigger battery capacity.
