Nokia 9 PureView has a score of 76.4, which is a bit better than the Nokia 8's 73.8 general score. Nokia 9 PureView's body has the same thickness than the Nokia 8, but it's just a little heavier. The Nokia 9 PureView has just a little better performance than Nokia 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Nokia 9 PureView also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Nokia 8 has a little bit better screen than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel number in each inch of display. Nokia 9 PureView counts with just a bit better camera than Nokia 8, because although it has a lower video definition and a less megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture and a bigger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.
Nokia 8 features a little bit better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Nokia 9 PureView has a bit superior battery performance than Nokia 8, because it has a 3320mAh battery capacity instead of 3090mAh.
Although Nokia 9 PureView is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Nokia 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Nokia 8, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
