The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is slightly better than Nokia 8's score of 73.8. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is a newer cellphone than Nokia 8, but it's somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier. The Nokia 8 has a way better looking display than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Nokia 8 also has a lot more pixels per inch of display and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.

The Nokia 8 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture and a back facing camera with a lower 13 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Nokia 8 counts with just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3090mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
