Sony Ericsson P990 is slightly better than the Nokia 9500 Communicator, getting a 33.1 score against 30.2. Sony Ericsson P990's body is newer and a lot lighter than Nokia 9500 Communicator's, but it's just a little bit thicker. Both of these devices include Symbian OS (Operating System), but the Sony Ericsson P990 has a newer 9.1 version and Nokia 9500 Communicator has Symbian 7.0s, offering a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.

Sony Ericsson P990 counts with a CPU that is just as good as the Nokia 9500 Communicator one, although the Sony Ericsson P990 also has a greater number of cores.
