Sony Xperia 1 is much better than the Nokia G50, with a overall score of 82.6 against 74.5. Sony Xperia 1's construction is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than the Nokia G50. Xperia 1 features just a little better hardware performance than Nokia G50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 1 counts with an incredibly better display than Nokia G50, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot greater quantity of pixels per display inch. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia G50, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more internal memory capacity.
Nokia G50 has a much better battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. The Nokia G50 has a slightly better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Nokia G50 also counts with higher 30 fps video frame rate and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
