Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Ion has a score of 61.3, which is a little bit better than the Lumia 720's 55.9 global score. Although it's the best we compare here, it must be told that it's also an older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone. Sony Xperia Ion works with Android 4.1.2 OS, while Lumia 720 has Windows Phone 8 OS.

The Xperia Ion counts with a bit more powerful processor than Lumia 720, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 cpu cores, the Xperia Ion also counts with 512 MB more RAM. The Xperia Ion has a more vivid screen than Nokia Lumia 720, because it has a way higher quantity of pixels per screen inch, a way better resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a bit bigger display.

The Xperia Ion counts with a better memory capacity to install games and applications than Lumia 720, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB internal storage capacity. Lumia 720 counts with a superior camera than Xperia Ion, although it has a back camera with a much lower 6.7 megapixels resolution and a lot lower 1280x720 video quality.

Nokia Lumia 720 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Xperia Ion, because it has a 2000mAh battery capacity against 1900mAh.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Sony Xperia Ion is also a lot cheaper, making it a great choice.
