Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is way better than the Nokia Lumia Icon's overall score of 68. Even though Galaxy Note Edge and Nokia Lumia Icon were released with only a couple months difference, Galaxy Note Edge's body is just a little bit heavier but somewhat thinner than Nokia Lumia Icon. Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 operating system, and Nokia Lumia Icon comes with Windows Phone 8 operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a slightly better screen than Lumia Icon, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a bit larger display and a little greater number of pixels in each inch of screen. Galaxy Note Edge has just a bit better performance than Nokia Lumia Icon, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a better graphics co-processor working at 500 megahertz and a larger amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Lumia Icon, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB. Galaxy Note Edge has improved battery duration than Lumia Icon, because it has a 24 percent greater battery size.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better camera than Nokia Lumia Icon, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors and a back facing camera with a lower 16 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
