Galaxy A42 is better than the Nokia X20, having an 87 score against 77.2. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. Although the Galaxy A42 and Nokia X20 were released only 6 months apart, the Galaxy A42 is a little thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Nokia X20 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a little larger display, a much better 2400 x 1080 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy A42 features just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Nokia X20, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a processing unit that's just as good as the Nokia X20 one, and although the Galaxy A42 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy A42 features just a bit better battery duration than Nokia X20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy A42 shoots greater pictures and videos than Nokia X20, although it has a camera in the back with much less megapixels resolution.
