Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III has a general score of 90.5, which is much better than Nokia X20's general score of 77.2. Although Xperia 5 III and the Nokia X20 were released with only a couple months difference, Xperia 5 III is somewhat thinner and lighter. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better screen than Nokia X20, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a little greater pixel density. The Sony Xperia 5 III has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Nokia X20, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB and more internal storage.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features a little faster processing unit than Nokia X20, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM. Nokia X20 and Xperia 5 III count with really similar batteries, although the Xperia 5 III also has a 4500mAh battery size against 4470mAh.
Xperia 5 III captures much better videos and photos than Nokia X20, although it has a much worse 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
