Samsung Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Nokia XR20, with an 85 score against 80.8. The Samsung Galaxy M40 body is much thinner and extremely lighter than Nokia XR20, although it was released many years before. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Nokia XR20 has Android 11 version.
The Nokia XR20 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Galaxy M40 and Nokia XR20 count with extremely similar memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M40's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Nokia XR20, both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM. The Nokia XR20 takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have the same video definition, the Nokia XR20 also counts with higher video frame rates, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality pictures and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Nokia XR20 has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4630mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
