The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Nothing Phone (2)'s 75.6 score. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version while Nothing Phone (2) has Android 12, so it provides the user some additional features and optimized performance. Even being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also a heavier and just a little thicker phone.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a little more vivid display than Nothing Phone (2), because although it has a bit worse screen pixel density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a quite bigger display and way more display brightness. The Nothing Phone (2) features a much greater processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Nothing Phone (2), because it has 256 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Nothing Phone (2), because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little bit better camera than Nothing Phone (2), and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same aperture and the same sensor size, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a way higher video resolution.
