Comparison review
HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Nothing Phone (2)'s general score of 75.6. These phones use Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has an older 5.0 version while Nothing Phone (2) has Android 12 version. The HTC One M9 is a way older and thicker phone than Nothing Phone (2), but HTC managed to make it extremely lighter anyway.
The HTC One M9 features a little faster processing unit than Nothing Phone (2), because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Nothing Phone (2), because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better pixel density.
Nothing Phone (2) has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Nothing Phone (2) features a much longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 4700mAh battery size against 2840mAh.
The Nothing Phone (2) has a better camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Nothing Phone (2) also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a larger aperture, a way larger sensor providing a much better image quality and a way better 50 megapixels resolution camera.
