Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than the Nothing Phone (2), having a 78.7 score against 75.6. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an older cellphone than the Nothing Phone (2), but Huawei was able to build it somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Nothing Phone (2) has Android 12.
The Nothing Phone (2) features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a way lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2412px resolution, it also counts with a larger display. Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Nothing Phone (2) feature similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, both have the same 128 GB internal storage.
Nothing Phone (2) has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Nothing Phone (2) also has 2 GB more RAM. Nothing Phone (2) takes much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Nothing Phone (2) also has a bigger camera aperture to take better captures in low-light situations, better 60 fps video frame rate, a lot larger sensor and a back camera with a way higher 50 mega-pixels resolution.
The Nothing Phone (2) has improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4700mAh battery capacity.
