Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is much better than the Nothing Phone (2)'s global score of 75.6. Even though Xiaomi Mi 9 is extremely older than Nothing Phone (2), it's body is thinner and somewhat lighter. The Nothing Phone (2) has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a just a little lower number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2412, a quite bigger display and a lot brighter display.
The Nothing Phone (2) features a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Nothing Phone (2) also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 9's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Nothing Phone (2)'s one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Nothing Phone (2) counts with a way better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4700mAh of battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Nothing Phone (2), because although it has a lower video resolution, a much smaller sensor capturing less light and dull colors and a camera with lesser mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
