Comparison review
Motorola edge is much better than nubia Red Magic 3, having a global score of 89.6 against 75.6. The Motorola edge construction is newer, lighter and a little bit thinner than nubia Red Magic 3. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola edge has the older 10 version and nubia Red Magic 3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The nubia Red Magic 3 has a bit sharper display than Motorola edge. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, a screen with the same size and the same pixel density. The nubia Red Magic 3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Motorola edge, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the nubia Red Magic 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Motorola edge has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than nubia Red Magic 3, and although they both have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage, the Motorola edge also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. The nubia Red Magic 3 has a bit better battery lifetime than Motorola edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
The Motorola edge shoots slightly better pictures and videos than nubia Red Magic 3, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola edge also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels, a larger camera sensor providing a better image quality and better 30 fps video frame rates.
The Motorola edge not only is the best devices in this comparison, but it's also a bit cheaper, which makes it a simple decision.
