Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than the nubia Red Magic 5G, with a general score of 78.7 against 75.7. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an much older phone than the nubia Red Magic 5G, but Huawei could make it notably thinner and lighter anyway. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and nubia Red Magic 5G has Android 10.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper display than nubia Red Magic 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features as much storage for games and applications as the nubia Red Magic 5G one, they have the same internal memory.
Nubia Red Magic 5G has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the nubia Red Magic 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The nubia Red Magic 5G has a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the nubia Red Magic 5G also has a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution back camera, faster video frame rate, a larger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a lot bigger sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures.
The nubia Red Magic 5G has a little better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs more than the nubia Red Magic 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as nubia Red Magic 5G. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy nubia Red Magic 5G, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
