Moto G9 Play is slightly better than nubia Red Magic 5G, with a 76.7 score against 75.7. Moto G9 Play is a just a bit thinner and just a little lighter device than the nubia Red Magic 5G, even when both were only released with a couple of months difference. Both phones in this review use the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features.
The nubia Red Magic 5G counts with a bit better processor than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the nubia Red Magic 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The nubia Red Magic 5G has a sharper display than Moto G9 Play, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a higher pixel density and a bit bigger screen.
Motorola Moto G9 Play has a greater storage for games and applications than nubia Red Magic 5G, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G9 Play has just a bit better battery life than nubia Red Magic 5G, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
Nubia Red Magic 5G captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting pictures or videos in low-light environments, and they both have a 0.59 inches sensor, the nubia Red Magic 5G also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution and a camera with way more mega pixels.
