Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is much better than the nubia Red Magic 5G's overall score of 75.7. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has the newer 11 version while nubia Red Magic 5G has Android 10, giving a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. Samsung Galaxy A42 is a somewhat thinner and lighter cellphone than nubia Red Magic 5G, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference.
Nubia Red Magic 5G features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the nubia Red Magic 5G also has more RAM. Nubia Red Magic 5G has a brighter display than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2340, a higher screen pixel density and a quite bigger screen.
Nubia Red Magic 5G takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the nubia Red Magic 5G also has faster 60 fps video frame rates and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels. Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than nubia Red Magic 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than nubia Red Magic 5G, because it has an 11 percent greater battery capacity.
