Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a global score of 90.5, which is better than the nubia Red Magic 5S's 76.2 global score. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is a somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner phone than nubia Red Magic 5S, although both of them were released only a couple of months apart. Both phones in this review include the same Android 10 OS, so they should give you the same operating system features.
Nubia Red Magic 5S features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than nubia Red Magic 5S, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's processor is very similar to the processing unit in nubia Red Magic 5S, they have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a battery performance that's just as good as the battery life in nubia Red Magic 5S. The nubia Red Magic 5S shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing pictures in poorly lited environments, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the nubia Red Magic 5S also counts with a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot better video resolution.
