Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is much better than the nubia Red Magic 5S's overall score of 76.2. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has 11 version and nubia Red Magic 5S has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple additional features. Galaxy A42 is a thinner and lighter phone than the nubia Red Magic 5S, even when both were released only a couple of months apart.
Nubia Red Magic 5S has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a lot better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little larger screen.
