Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is slightly better than the nubia Red Magic 5S's 76.2 general score. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is way lighter and a lot thinner than the nubia Red Magic 5S, despite of the fact that it was released 2 years before. These phones include the same Android 10 OS (operating system).
The Xiaomi Mi 8's processor is very similar to the nubia Red Magic 5S one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little more vivid screen than nubia Red Magic 5S, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same brightness, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features much more memory for games and applications than nubia Red Magic 5S, because it has more internal memory. Nubia Red Magic 5S has better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. Nubia Red Magic 5S shoots way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the nubia Red Magic 5S also has a camera with much more mega-pixels, a way better video quality and a way bigger sensor.
