Sony Xperia 1 is better than nubia Z20, getting an 82.6 score against 71.9. Sony Xperia 1 is a just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner device than the nubia Z20, even though both were released only 5 months apart. Nubia Z20 features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the nubia Z20 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 features a better screen than nubia Z20, because although it has less brightness, it also counts with a quite larger display, a lot better pixels amount per screen inch and a way better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Xperia 1 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than nubia Z20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
The nubia Z20 has better battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The nubia Z20 has a better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and videos, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution, a much higher video quality and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Sony Xperia 1 is a lot more expensive than the nubia Z20, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
