Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is much better than OnePlus 2, with an 83 score against 62.9. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 2 has Android 5.1, so it offers some nice extra features. Even though the Galaxy Note8 is heavier than OnePlus 2, it's somewhat thinner and also newer.

The Galaxy Note8 has a better performing CPU than OnePlus 2, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The OnePlus 2 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a quite smaller display, a little bit worse pixels density and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

OnePlus 2 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light images and a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 2 also counts with better 120 frames per second video frame rates and a back camera with a higher 13 megapixels resolution.

Galaxy Note8 features a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 2, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8's battery performance is very similar to OnePlus 2's battery duration.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a little more than the OnePlus 2, but you can get a much better phone for that few more dollars.
