Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is much better than the OnePlus 5's 69.6 score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro body is newer than OnePlus 5's, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit sharper display than OnePlus 5, because it has a way higher 1440 x 3120px resolution, a larger display and a higher pixel number in each inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro's memory for apps and games is just as good as the OnePlus 5 one, both have the same internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in OnePlus 5, and although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 5, because it has a 27 percent greater battery size. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than OnePlus 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a way higher 40 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro costs a bit more money than OnePlus 5, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
