Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the OnePlus 6, having a 78.7 score against 73.3. Even though Huawei Mate 9 Pro is older than OnePlus 6, it's body is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit sharper display than OnePlus 6, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better display pixel density. OnePlus 6 has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has more internal memory.
The OnePlus 6 has a little faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with longer battery life than OnePlus 6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
The OnePlus 6 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 6 also has a back-facing camera with a way better 16 mega pixels resolution, a bigger sensor taking higher quality photos, faster video frame rates and a lot larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 6. If you prefer to save some money, you can get OnePlus 6, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
