Comparison review
LG G5 is just a bit better than OnePlus 6, getting a 76.1 score against 73.3. LG G5's construction is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 6, although it was released 2 years before. These phones use Android operating system, but LG G5 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version.
The OnePlus 6 features just a little better performance than LG G5, because it has a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. The LG G5 features just a bit better looking screen than OnePlus 6, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The OnePlus 6 has just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. OnePlus 6 has better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
OnePlus 6 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than LG G5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a back facing camera with a 16 mega pixels and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the OnePlus 6 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations and higher video frame rates.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 6. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the OnePlus 6, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
