Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is better than the OnePlus 6, having an 83 score against 73.3. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version, providing some nice extra features. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must note that it is also a a bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone.

OnePlus 6 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 6 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better looking display than OnePlus 6, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a better display pixel density.

OnePlus 6 captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 6 also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher 16 mega pixels resolution and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.

The OnePlus 6 counts with a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the battery lifetime in OnePlus 6.

The Galaxy Note8 is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 6, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
